Chiarina Crawford, MSc., OT Reg. (Ont.)

I have been working as an Occupational Therapist since I graduated from McMaster University in 2018. My experience comes from working with a wide range of client populations (adults and older adults with mental health, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions) across different settings (community, clinic). However, I have recently focused my work on supporting those who are struggling to function in their daily lives due to their mental health, such as anxiety and depression. I can help you with setting and achieving your goals through teaching you about strategies and skills (e.g. relaxation and meditation techniques, grounding techniques, communication and social skills, etc.) and supporting you with applying them to your life. I can help you make behaviour changes that will support your mental health through structured goal setting/tracking and supportive counselling. I can help you find ways to manage your activities of daily living due to low energy and low motivation as well as explore new hobbies, interests, or employment opportunities that are in line with your values.

Educational Background

I have a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (2018), Masters of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences  (2016), and Honours Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences (April 2015).
